My name is Ruth Ellen Hasser and I am an ordained Wedding Officiant, Nondenominational Minister, and Life-Cycle Celebrant. I serve St. Louis and its surrounding counties, St. Louis Metro East, and nearby Southwestern Illinois counties.

As a Celebrant and wedding minister, I create beautiful and customized ceremonies with couples who want their wedding to be a reflection of their love, their beliefs, their hopes and their dreams for a life together. Long or short, formal or informal, civil or spiritual, interfaith or non-religious, your ceremony will be at the heart of your wedding day. I will work with you to create a unique and personalized ceremony at your location of choice, and I will officiate at your wedding with professionalism, warmth, and joy!

Couples who choose my services want something more than a “fill-your-name-in-the-blank” ceremony. They want a ceremony that is unique, personalized, and from the heart. When I am your wedding officiant, you will be able to choose your own vows, readings, wedding choreography, music, and unity ritual. And you will have final approval over the script for the entire wedding ceremony. When you work with me, you are in charge!

Wedding Ceremony Fees

The costs for my services range from $200-$550. My fees take into account the length and complexity of your ceremony, travel requirements, time of year, rehearsals, and related factors. What you get for your money is the confidence that comes with knowing that you have hired an experienced wedding officiant with excellent credentials and references, who will work with you and for you to give you a truly beautiful and meaningful wedding ceremony.

My Credentials

As an ordained minister and Celebrant certified by the Celebrant Foundation and Institute in 2007, I am trained and experienced in creating personalized, customized, and memorable ceremonies. Each Life-Cycle Celebrant trained by the Celebrant Foundation in Weddings & Other Ceremonies for Couples has to meet the legal requirements of her or his state in order to receive certification. I have met the requirements of all 50 states through my ordination with the Universal Brotherhood Movement, Inc.
